Project
The Collaborative and Widener University teamed to improve the landscape of the Campus Core, thus defining an Academic Quad.
The goal of the project was to design a destination to unify the campus, while enhancing the pedestrian experience.
Campus Core improvements were also instrumental in the new Founders Hall’s ability to achieve LEED certification. LEED credits were earned through the design’s native habitat restoration within the Academic Quad. The use of seasonal plants with vibrant color also allows the allure and functionality of the Quad’s landscape to be easily maintained.
