The Col­lab­o­ra­tive is look­ing for tal­ent­ed, moti­vat­ed and curi­ous design­ers to join our grow­ing prac­tice in our Ann Arbor and Tole­do offices. The can­di­date should be able to work col­lab­o­ra­tive­ly with our Senior Design staff and Project Archi­tects to help cre­ate inno­v­a­tive and thought­ful solu­tions for our broad client base. Tech­ni­cal Architect

5 to 7 Years’ Experience

Respon­si­bil­i­ties:
The Col­lab­o­ra­tive is active­ly recruit­ing tech­ni­cal archi­tects for our Ann Arbor and Tole­do offices. The can­di­date will be respon­si­ble for a pro­jec­t’s tech­ni­cal design effort, sub­se­quent detailed design devel­op­ment, project coor­di­na­tion and qual­i­ty con­trol efforts dur­ing all phas­es of project work, all while in close col­lab­o­ra­tion with the design team. Atten­tion to detail, a basic knowl­edge of build­ing codes and abil­i­ty to work in a team envi­ron­ment is very impor­tant. Pro­fi­cien­cy in BIM is required. Pro­fes­sion­al licen­sure encouraged.

Archi­tect

Entry Lev­el

Respon­si­bil­i­ties:
The Col­lab­o­ra­tive has an oppor­tu­ni­ty for a tal­ent­ed entry lev­el archi­tect to join our Ann Arbor or Tole­do offices. The can­di­date will be a mem­ber of project teams involved with high­er edu­ca­tion, cor­po­rate and com­mer­cial projects through­out the mid-west and east coast. Req­ui­site skills are strong design, plan­ning, and prob­lem-solv­ing capa­bil­i­ties. Pro­fi­cien­cy in BIM, var­i­ous ren­der­ing plat­forms and Adobe Cre­ative Suite prod­ucts a plus. Can­di­dates should pos­sess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Archi­tec­ture or relat­ed field. A suc­cess­ful can­di­date will be self-start­ing, flex­i­ble, and quick to con­tribute to our range of projects for nation­al­ly known clients.

Project Man­ag­er

Respon­si­bil­i­ties:

The Col­lab­o­ra­tive is active­ly seek­ing a cre­ative and high­ly moti­vat­ed Project Man­ag­er in our Ann Arbor and Tole­do offices. The can­di­date will be respon­si­ble for over­sight of inter­nal and exter­nal teams, client inter­face and over­all suc­cess­ful project deliv­ery. The abil­i­ty to lead the devel­op­ment of mul­ti­ple projects simul­ta­ne­ous­ly while main­tain­ing a high lev­el of qual­i­ty, is a must. Client rela­tion­ship man­age­ment, excep­tion­al com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills and over­all orga­ni­za­tion are the key aspects for this position.

Inte­ri­or Designer

The Col­lab­o­ra­tive is look­ing for an expe­ri­enced Inte­ri­or Design­er, in both our Ann Arbor and Tole­do offices, inter­est­ed in the oppor­tu­ni­ty to work along­side Archi­tects and Design­ers to cre­ate unique and inspir­ing envi­ron­ments. The can­di­date should pos­sess a pas­sion for design, expe­ri­ence in guid­ing the devel­op­ment of both the 2‑dimensional and 3‑dimensional fit and fin­ish of spaces and strong ver­bal and graph­ic com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills. The posi­tion will include the inde­pen­dent devel­op­ment and man­age­ment of small­er inte­ri­ors projects as well con­tri­bu­tions to larg­er mul­ti-dis­ci­pli­nary projects dur­ing all phas­es from con­cept devel­op­ment through con­struc­tion admin­is­tra­tion. Pri­or busi­ness devel­op­ment, client man­age­ment and BIM expe­ri­ence a plus.

Senior Lev­el Land­scape Architect

Entry Lev­el Land­scape Architect

Respon­si­bil­i­ties:

The Col­lab­o­ra­tive, a high­ly moti­vat­ed design firm, seeks to hire an entry lev­el Land­scape Archi­tect.
Although office expe­ri­ence is not required, pref­er­ence will be giv­en to can­di­dates who demon­strate a his­to­ry of suc­cess in an office or class­work and/​or a com­plet­ed intern­ship in a Land­scape Archi­tec­ture office set­ting.
As part of our Land­scape Archi­tec­ture and plan­ning team, this indi­vid­ual will work on com­plex assign­ments requir­ing design, plan­ning, crit­i­cal think­ing and inno­v­a­tive solu­tions. The can­di­date must be able to devel­op site plans, land­scape plans and project details; devel­op illus­tra­tive graph­ics; and col­lect, orga­nize, inter­pret and present data in cre­ative ways.

Mar­ket­ing Coordinator

Respon­si­bil­i­ties:

The Col­lab­o­ra­tive is active­ly look­ing for an entry lev­el, full-time mar­ket­ing coor­di­na­tor to join our inter­nal mar­ket­ing team. The Mar­ket­ing Coor­di­na­tor will work with the team to coor­di­nate and devel­op pro­pos­als, qual­i­fi­ca­tion pack­ages, inter­view mate­ri­als, orga­nize var­i­ous mar­ket­ing data, revise and update boil­er­plate col­lat­er­al and imple­ment mar­ket­ing relat­ed admin­is­tra­tive tasks. The posi­tion requires exten­sive knowl­edge of the Adobe Suite, in par­tic­u­lar Adobe InDesign.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions

Bachelor’s Degree in Mar­ket­ing or Relat­ed Field.

2 to 5 Years’ experience.

Expe­ri­ence in the AEC indus­try a plus.

Adobe Suite, specif­i­cal­ly Adobe InDe­sign Knowl­edge is Required. 

Abil­i­ty to Mul­ti-task and Work in a Team environment.
