New World Headquarters

A new $60 million headquarters gives La-Z-Boy a dynamic and collaborative workplace for their 500 employees. The building includes a variety of workspaces and flex areas including conference spaces to be scheduled or reserved for specific teams or meetings. The design is organized around the centrally located work cafe, with full cafeteria, open work areas, second floor coffee bar and living room areas. The variety of work spaces means employees assemble in teams on a temporary or long-term basis, melding in different ways according to the needs of each assignment.

The building itself incorporates low-energy strategies and techniques to reduce water use. A underground geothermal system is incorporated to service the mechanical system.
